The President of the Republic of Malawi Author Peter Mutharika (APM) is set to travel to Brussels in Belgium to attend 2017 European Development Days Malawi News Hub has learnt.
Information indicate that APM will depart for Belgium’s capital Brussels on Monday June 5, 2017 at 03:00am through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA).
Official Facebook Page of Malawi Government wrote that the Malawi leader travels to Belgium “on the invitation of European Union (EU) to attend the 2017 European Development Days (EDD)”.
According to the statement, EDD is “held each year and brings together the development community to share ideas and experiences in ways that inspire new partnerships and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges”.
After the EDD, Mutharika will travel to United Kingdom (UK) where he is expected to address “the Oxford University focusing on among others the Global Access to Education, Youth and Women Empowerment”.
