Malawi’s international football star Frank Gabadigho Mhango has taken courage to apologize for his conduct during a match involving his club Bidvest Wits University and AmaZulu FC in which he as shown sent off.
Mhango, commonly known as Gaba, was involved in some sort of disagreement with and spitted on Michael Morton of AmaZulu FC.
According to Gaba, he regrets that the incident happened because it brought about a bad picture to the game of football let alone offending all concerned.
“Last month I was involved in an incident that should have not happened in the beautiful game of football. I offended Michael Morton and AmaZulu FC. I also disrespected my club and aboveall, I disrespected the beautiful game of football.
“To all I apologize unequivocally”, Gaba wrote in a statement.
Formerly of Big Bullets, Gaba has meanwhile stated that he has taken full responsibility of his conduct.
