Malawian female gospel artist rises in RSA.

A Malawian born gospel singer based in Republic of South Africa ,Maria Chipeta has become popular in the rainbow nation after releasing her first music album ‘Kuwelera Nyuma Yai’.

Chipeta hails from Kasoti Phiri village in Mphongo school area in the Northern region district of Mzimba.In ‘ Kuwelera Nyuma yai’, the artist featured two fellow Malawian artists Lameck Shaba and Fortunate Lambulira.

Speaking to Malawi News Hub from her home in Diepsloot in South Africa,the Female Gospel singer said that, “the near future plan is to release another gospel album before the end of this year.

“Am working on my second album which is expected to be released before the end of this year” Chipeta said

She added that her ” Kuwelera Nyuma Yai” album which consists of 11 songs include:
