One of the Malawi’s Blantyre based soccer powerhouse Mighty Be Forward Wanderers on Wednesday displayed a classic play of soccer winning by two goals to nil in a match against city boys Blantyre United at MDC Stadium.
The two goals came from Precious Msosa in the first half and from individual effort of Yamikani Chester were in the second half of the match.
Mighty Be Forward Wanderers, well known as Nyerere, have also deservedly taken up the lead in the TNM super league with 16 points from 6 games.
The Nyerere boys played fantastically from the first whistle despite early attempts from Blantyre United’s striking force of Sparrow Msowoya and once a hitman Brain ‘Fisi Matama’ Mizeyi.
Renowned midfilder Joseph ‘Shakila’ Kamwendo had a good time to find and pass balls causing youngstars in Chester and Msosa to thrive.
Blantyre United has now lost TNM super league games in a low while the Lali Lubani team are yet to loss a game let alone conceding any goal.
