A South African based Malawian rising artist Roy Gee has once proven to be one of the promising upcoming most talented artist following a release of his marvelous video of ‘Yudasi’.
Born Roy Gyan Kumwenda, Roy Gee is a Malawian artist living in South Africa who was recently featured on etv’s sunrise show after releasing hit single titled ‘Nyengo’.
This time, the NBC Music founder, has come with a bang on music scene with a masterpiece video of ‘Yudasi’ which was shot in the rainbow nation of South Africa.
The voice, dressing and setting of the video is just what a video needs to have.
According to Roy G, the Video was produced by NF Films while the audio is a work of renowned producer Ralp Ching’amba.
Yudasi is a reggae song in Tumbuka about Judas who was a disciple and later a betrayer of Jesus Christ. In the song, Jesus is questioning Judas of what he has done to face prosecution ahead.
“Judas, what have I done wrong for you to hand me in hands of enemies, in the hands of judges and being a false witness to the king for me be crucified?”, Roy G simply translated part of lyrics.
Meanwhile, the video is already on YouTube where it is enjoying deserving views in short a period.
